Men's Retreat - September 9-10, 2011
If you are in search of great speaking, enthusiastic singing, and exciting activities at a great price,
then the High Point Men's Retreat is the weekend for you! This retreat will provide you with a comfortable forum to get away from the stresses of the daily grind and focus on the important spiritual aspects of your life. Activities include a skeet shoot, home run derby, "closest to the pin" golf competition, zipline, and more. You can look forward to a great weekend of both physical and spiritual enrichment.
Speaker: Dr. Ken Rudolph
Ken Rudolph is an excellent communicator to youth and adults and is known for his ability to motivate people to a life committed to Jesus Christ.
Ken Rudolph graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1975. He served as a youth pastor at Capitol Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland from 1976-1980. Then from 1980-1986 he was pastor at Charity Baptist Church in McLean, Virginia. He also served as Youth Ministry Representative at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania from 1986-1999. Ken and his wife, Jinner, joined the Lake Ann Baptist Camp staff in June of 1999. As the Advancement Director, he represented the camp while speaking in local churches and youth events around the country and internationally too. Ken was the featured speaker for Lake Ann’s summer Senior High camp program, for the “Freeze Out” teen winter retreats and for a ladies', couples' and men's retreats.
In 2009 Ken and Jinner began their new ministry through the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism to work with their missionary mobilization team. He will continue to keep his ministry of speaking at Lake Ann Camp, plus, they will facilitate church planting, inspire the next generation to plant churches, educate American churches to the unique needs of Europe in church planting and to help raise resources to accomplish the great commission. Ken will also speak in Christian High Schools across Europe and is hopeful of raising up European young people to spread the gospel right where they live!
They have four married children and eight adorable grandchildren!
Saturday Activities Will Include:
4th Annual Power Tool Derby
Get ready for High Point Camp's 4th Annual Power Tool Derby. You, and the guys from your church, build one or several power tool dragsters. On Friday night, after the “Pie Feast,” the races begin. Your dragster will compete against the other dragsters for prizes and braggin’ rights until next year.

Please remember to bring your own bedding and towels. Men who wish to stay in hotel housing should make their own reservations and payments directly to the hotel.
