Most Commonly Asked Questions
How do I make a reservation with High Point Camp and Conference Center?
First, complete the rental application. Next, mail the completed form
along with the required security deposit to us. After receiving these
items, your reservation will be confirmed on our calendar. Security
deposits are not subtracted from the amount due for your visit. For more
details see our Making a Reservation page.
What are the meal
times for our group?
You can choose your meal time and let us know what it will be on your
reservation. We do ask that you abide by the following when
choosing your meal times. Please have the "start" time
be between 8:00-8:30 for breakfast, 12:00 - 12:30 for lunch, and 5:00 -
5:30 for dinner. Please note: Sunday Breakfast will need
to be scheduled for 8:00 am to allow our kitchen staff to attend
services at their local church. We will have food served for the first 1/2 hour
of your meal time. However, you are welcome to stay in the dining
hall longer so that your group can use the meal times to
fellowship. For example, if you schedule your lunch time for 12:30
- 1:30, we will serve lunch from 12:30 - 1:00.
Are there any medical
facilities nearby?
Our camp is located approximately 25 minutes from the Reading Hospital.
There is also a emergency medical facility (St. Joseph Health Network)
located within 10 minutes of the campground. A number of Christian doctors are also available during office hours
within a short distance. What
activities are available for my group in the evening?
Each group is encouraged to have a spiritual challenge each evening.
Groups are to provide their own speakers and resources for these times.
Our indoor gym is open until 11:30 pm and includes activities such as
basketball and volleyball. The game room is also available.
Will my group be
supervised when we are at camp?
A full-time camp staff member will be on the campsite and available at
all times. It is best that you or your sponsors be with your group at
all times. The full-time staff is here to supervise activities and be
available for questions. Do
you have a Lost & Found?
Our goal is to not have any Lost & Found items. Please help
us by labeling everything your child brings, and make sure you have all
of their belongings before you leave the camp property. High Point
Camp is not responsible for lost or broken items. Items will be
held for two weeks pending calls to identify and claim them.
Claimed items are returned C.O.D. Items not claimed after the
two-week period are donated to charity.
How do parents get in
touch with their children?
In emergency situations, call the camp office during business hours at
610-286-5942 ext. 153. In event of extreme emergency or if your group
cannot make it on time, call Steve Cone at 484-638-0387.
