Camp Guidelines and Policies

If you have questions about any of the following, please contact the camp office before making your final reservations.

Ø      The group leader is responsible to inform all members of his/her group of the standards of High Point Camp.  Leaders are also responsible to provided general and specific supervision of their group during periods when guests are not actively involved in programming led by our staff.

Ø      PMeal times can be scheduled to work into your schedule.  However, please have the "start" time be between 8:00-8:30 for breakfast, 12:00 - 12:30 for lunch, and 5:00 - 5:30 for dinner.  Please note:  Sunday Breakfast will need to be scheduled for 8:00 am to allow our kitchen staff to attend services at their local church.  We will have food served for the first 1/2 hour of your meal time.  However, you are welcome to stay in the dining hall longer so that your group can use the meal times to fellowship.  For example, if you schedule your lunch time for 12:30 - 1:30, we will serve lunch from 12:30 - 1:00.

Ø      Excessively loud or questionable styles of music that may be offensive are prohibited.  The volume of the music being used should be confined to the room or area in which it is being played.

Ø      Groups may bring keyboards and acoustic guitars,  however, the use of electric and bass guitars and drums are not permitted.  Groups should receive permission to bring sound systems with them.

Ø      Physical contact and public displays of affection by single men and women are discouraged.  Married couples are asked to use discretion concerning these issues.

Ø      The use of cigarettes/tobacco products, alcohol, illegal narcotics, fireworks, and firearms are prohibited.  The entire camp is a smoke-free environment.
