2008 Winter Youth Retreats
These popular, well-supervised retreats for kids
and teens from grades 3-12 combine enriching preaching with fun winter sports and a variety of
indoor activities. Please register early, space is limited to
only 250 individuals per weekend this year.
Juniors

"Uncle Buddy" has been ministering to children for many
years. He has served as a children's pastor in a local church, he
has traveled as a children's evangelist, and now Uncle Buddy is a
children's speaker with Answers in Genesis. You'll be sure to have
a GREAT weekend with "Uncle Buddy."

For many years, Rand served as Program Director for the Wilds Christian
Camp. He has recently accepted the call to be the Director of the
Wilds in New England. His insight and unique approach to the Word
of God have been reaching teens since 1978.

Dr. Ed Newton is a full-time evangelist with the goal and purpose of
making Jesus Christ known throughout the nation. He is a
passionate "Bible communicator" with a desire to teach God's
Word in a a real and relevant way. His mission is to challenge
young people to love Jesus unwaveringly and serve people
unconditionally.

Dan was born in the Chicago area and came to know Christ as a
child. Dan earned his Bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University
and his Master's of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological
Seminary. He has had a variety of ministry experience that
includes serving on staff at a Christian camp and as a youth pastor,
young adult pastor and church planter.

Cost
The cost of $55.00 ($50.00 for Junior Retreat) should be paid at the
same time you send in your registration . Partial refunds will be give
if someone cannot attend. Housing can be made available for Saturday
night for an additional $10.00 per camper. This will include
dinner and a
continental breakfast. Please contact the camp office for
details. Please note: An additional $10 fee
per person will be added to registrations that are not postmarked at
least 10 days before the beginning of the camp. Telephone, fax,
and walk-in registrations are NOT accepted.
Bring These
Bible, pencil, notebook, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, washcloth, soap,
pajamas, warm clothing, gloves, hat, coat, boots, extra clothing, comb,
toothbrush and flashlight.
Please do not bring radios, CD players, MP3's, cell phones, knives,
cigarettes/tobacco, drugs, alcohol, fireworks or guns. Non-cooperative
or non-compliant campers are subject to dismissal.
Activities
You will enjoy lots of singing, skits, new games, tubing, volleyball,
ping-pong, foosball, carpetball, basketball and more. Of course, a
pizza snack will be provided on Friday night and great food will be provided on
Saturday! Individual churches are responsible for transportation to and
from off-camp activities. We will not be going off site for snow
tubing as we have done in the past. All activities will take
place on site.
Schedule
Registration will be open from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. The service begins at
7:00 pm. Activity schedules may vary according to the weather. Camp ends
on Saturday at approximately 4:15pm.
Ski weekend begins Thursday night at 8:00 pm. We will provide a Pizza Snack on
Thursday night and continental breakfast on Friday, before hitting the
slopes.
Counselors
Churches are to bring one adult counselor for every 8-10 campers. One
adult attends free for each 10 campers registered. Adults will be housed
in cabins with campers. Counselors should also register.
