2023 SPEAKER: Alan Hines

Alan Hines is the lead pastor at Townsend Church in Townsend, Delaware. He has spent the last twenty-five years working in ministry. During his early years in ministry, he taught at a Christian school in Alabama and served as a youth pastor in his church. In 2005, he and his family moved from Alabama to Delaware to launch a children’s ministry with Townsend Church. Alan served as the youth pastor until 2013 when he took on the role of lead pastor.

Pastor Hines is known for his down-to-earth, verse-by-verse preaching and practical application of Biblical truth. His servant leadership values can be best described by Micah 6:8, “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.”

Pastor Hines is a family man, golfer, and student in Liberty University’s doctorate program for Practical Theology. In his free time, he is most likely to be found coaching Upward Sports with his sons Eli and Ethan, completing DIY projects with his wife Sally, or at Chick-fil-A grabbing a half sweet-half unsweet tea with his daughter Emma.

"High Point Camp is fun, no matter how old you are! There are so many ways to get outdoors and enjoy God's creation, play some games or enjoy the lake."
