60 YEAR OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

2021 marked our 60th year of camp ministry! We can look back and see God's faithfulness to the ministry. Thousands of campers, guest groups, and individuals have come here and heard the gospel clearly given. This summer alone, nearly 100 campers began a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are excited to see what God will do in the next 60 years.

WOMEN'S RETREAT

This spring we hosted our annual Women's Retreat. We had about 80 women attend, and had a great weekend relaxing and studying God's Word. Some ladies took a hand-lettering workshop, while others enjoyed the zipline, or talking by the lake. Our next Women's Retreat is May 6-7, 2022. We look forward to seeing you and your friends then!

CAMP STAFF REUNION

Our first Camp Staff Reunion brought people who were on staff 60 years ago and those who were here for their first time this summer. It was a great time of reminiscing, catching up with old friends, and hearing what God has done in the years since High Point Camp was founded. Our 2021 summer staff commented how impactful it was to hear from former staff about the lessons they learned and God's goodness to them when they were on staff.

DAY CAMP

Our first full summer of day camp brought nearly 600 campers. They enjoyed many of the benefits of our overnight camp, without spending the night. From seeing exotic animals and reptiles to our local fire company giving campers tours of their trucks, we provided unique themes with special activities each week. Registration opens Feb. 1, 2022

OVERNIGHT CAMP

Over 1,400 campers experienced camp this summer! From the speakers that shared God's word, and spiritual decisions made to the amazing activities, and kind and caring staff - after missing summer camp last year - it was the Best. Summer. Ever! We loved hearing the singing, cheering, and laughter back here again! Registration Opens Feb. 1, 2022.

EQUIP PROGRAM

21 teens chose to spend 3 weeks of their summer growing in their walk with God, being challenged in their personal development, and learning to use their time to serve others. The "Equipper's" days were filled with leadership development sessions with our staff, solo time to process what God was teaching them, hiking to some cool locations, and bonfires at night to wind down. Registration opens Feb.1st, 2022 for those entering 11th -12th grades this fall.

MEN'S RETREAT

Over 100 men joined us in mid-September to be challenged spiritually at our annual Men's Retreat. We roasted a pig and had a full-out barbeque to welcome the men, then topped off the opening night with our epic Pie Feast!  Saturday was filled with competitions and fun! The men were able to enjoy helicopter rides, ax and spear throwing, a log toss, corn hole, skeet shooting, and much more! Make plans to join us next year.

NEW STAFF MEMBERS

ELI HALL - Guest Services

Eli has been with us for over 6 years serving on our summer staff as a counselor, an EQUIP leader, as well as an intern in the off-season. We are thankful he has stuck around with us. If you are interested in having your group come to camp - Eli will help you through the whole process.

JARED LEMOS - Food Services

Jared, along with his wife Natalie, and their daughter Tilly, joined us this summer as our new Camp Cook. Jared has not disappointed us with his food creations and has kept our bellies well fed! The Lemos Family loves the Lord, loves food, and we are excited to have them join our team.
